The script tail is the detail this jacket is named for — the cursive Dallas wordmark with its underline sweeping back beneath the letters, taken from the older team branding rather than the current block lettering.

It sits on a wool body with faux leather sleeves in navy and white. Script embroidery needs a stable panel underneath it or the letterforms distort with wear, and wool gives it that stability in a way a satin shell cannot.

The front is a full zip with a top and bottom snap overlay. The zip does the work and the snap placket covers it, so from the outside the jacket reads as a clean snap front with none of the gapping that a snap-only closure gets in wind.

Rib knitted collar and cuffs pick up the navy and white striping, and the sleeves are cut long so the cuff finishes at the wrist rather than short of it.

Navy through the body with white sleeves is the highest-contrast combination in the Cowboys range, which is what lets the script read from a distance. If you want the wordmark to be the focus, this is the version that delivers it.

The fit follows the standard varsity block: room across the chest and back for layering, then a ribbed hem drawing in at the waist to keep the silhouette from spreading. Sizes run XS to 3XL and the cut is unisex.

As with the other wool builds, hang the jacket rather than folding it so the sleeves keep their line, spot clean rather than washing, and keep it clear of direct heat.
