This is the collector's end of the category. Jeff Hamilton built his reputation on heavily panelled leather jackets covered in championship detail, and this piece follows that approach — real leather throughout, colour-blocked in black, red and green, with the Dallas Cowboys detailing worked across the panels rather than printed on top of them.

Real leather is what separates it from everything else in this group. The satin and wool varsity jackets are built for weight and shine; leather is built for years. It softens as you wear it, takes the shape of your shoulders and looks better at three years old than it did new.

The panelling is the technical part. Each colour block is a separate piece of leather, cut and stitched rather than dyed in, which is why the seams follow the design lines instead of cutting across them.

A full zip with top and bottom snap overlay runs down the front, giving you a zip's security behind a clean snap placket. Soft viscose lining runs the length of the body.

The collar is a turn down rather than rib knit, which places this closer to a leather bomber than a varsity jacket, and the cuffs fasten with buttons rather than stretching.

There are two slanted waist pockets and one inner pocket. Slanted pockets sit at a natural hand angle and stay closed against the body when you move.

Leather sizing runs closer than wool. There is room for a shirt or a light knit but not for a heavy hoodie, so if you plan to layer, size up one. The range covers XS to 3XL.

Care is minimal but not optional: keep it dry, hang it on a broad hanger so the shoulders hold, condition the leather once a year, and never put it near direct heat. Made to order, so allow a day of production before dispatch.
