Women's Classic B3 Leather Bomber Shearling Jacket

The B3 is the original cold-weather flight jacket, issued to bomber crews who worked at altitudes where ordinary outerwear simply failed. Everything about the design exists for a reason: the shearling is the insulation rather than a decorative trim, the collar is oversized because it had to seal against the wind at the neck, and the body is cut short and full so it works while seated. Eighty years on, none of that has been improved upon.

Real leather forms the shell, and it behaves the way leather should over time — softening around the shoulders and elbows through the first season, then holding that shape rather than sagging. Faux shearling runs through the body, the collar and the cuffs, which is where warmth actually escapes on most jackets.

The zip-up front closes the jacket completely, and with the shearling collar turned up you get genuine coverage at the neck instead of the token protection a standard bomber collar offers. Turned down, the collar frames the shoulders and gives the jacket its recognisable aviator line.

Two outside pockets take gloves and a phone; two inside pockets hold a wallet or anything you would rather keep concealed. Long sleeves finish in shearling cuffs that seal the wrists without pinching over a knit.

Black with white contrast keeps the aviator character visible without tipping into costume. It sits naturally over jeans and boots, and works just as well over a jumper on a genuinely cold day — which is the weather this jacket was designed for.

Available XS through 3XL and made to order rather than pulled from stock, with production taking about a day.
