This jacket puts all three in one piece, and does it in red rather than the usual brown or black — which is the difference between an outerwear purchase and a wardrobe decision.

Real leather forms the shell with soft faux fur lining through the body, so the warmth is built in rather than something you add underneath. That is what separates a shearling from an ordinary leather jacket: you can wear this over a shirt in genuine cold and not think about a jumper.
